East Riding Council has announced that essential works to strengthen the bridge at Rawcliffe Bridge will start next week on Monday, 17 June - expected to be completed by March, 2020. Citizens Advice are working together with the Consumer Protection Partnership, Trading Standards and the Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) to run their 2019 Scams Awareness campaign. Today marks the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings and the beginning of the Battle of Normandy. Andrew says, "On the 6th June 1944, over 150,000 incredibly brave allied soldiers took part in the largest amphibious invasion in history.
