Apply for the East Riding's Year of Green Action Community Fund

As part of the Government’s Year of Green Action initiative, East Riding Council are inviting applications for ‘green’ grants via the East Riding's Year of Green Action Community Fund.

Andrew explains, "These grants of up to £1000 will be available to community groups, not-for-profit organisations, volunteers, town and parish councils, schools and other public bodies. They are to be used towards green and environmentally-friendly projects, such as, planting trees, litter picks, or installing green walls or roofs."

The deadline for applications is 5pm on Sunday, 7 July. You can register online at: https://eastridingofyorkshirecouncil.flexigrant.com/default.aspx

The Year of Green Action, which comes as part of the Government’s 25-year environment plan, aims to connect people with nature, and show how we can all take positive action to improve our environment.
