‘Let’s Talk Loneliness’ Campaign

As part of this year’s Loneliness Awareness Week, the Government has launched a new campaign to tackle the stigma of loneliness and to encourage people to speak out.

Andrew says, "A number of charities, organisations and businesses have come together to support this new campaign, including The Marmalade Trust, the Co-op Foundation, the British Red Cross, the Campaign to End Loneliness, Mind, Public Health England and the Jo Cox Foundation.

"Sadly, a new poll has shown that the main barrier for people discussing their loneliness is not wanting to be a burden. This new campaign will seek to raise awareness of this issue and encourage people to speak about their loneliness without stigma."
