Latest Update - At their meeting on April 11th, Councillors of all parties on the Humberside Fire Authority decided to defer a final decision on the proposed cuts for three months. This was to allow time for further information to be gathered before a final decision is taken. Andrew Percy has launched a petition against proposals which could see parking charges levied on the Estcourt Street and Leisure Centre car parks in Goole. If the plans are agreed, it would mean that the car parks will be free for the first half hour and after that be subject to a charge of 50p for an hour's stay and 70p for every additional hour after that. They also recommended a £2.50 all day fee.
