Before Christmas, Andrew arranged the donation of a number of toys for the local family support charity Homestart. As with his donation last year, this was in conjunction with the British Toy & Hobby Association (BTHA), who provide toys to MPs over Christmas in order for them to make a donation to a local charity.
Andrew said, "My team and I were delighted to once again donate some toys for Christmas to the family support charity: Homestart, Goole. These toys are then delivered to local families who are supported by the charity. As with last year, this was part of an initiative set up by the British Toy & Hobby Association (BTHA) for MPs to donate toys to a local charity during Christmas.
"Homestart is a voluntary organisation which supports families with at least one child under the age of eight. They are currently looking to recruit some volunteers.
