There was a fantastic response to this summer's free swimming scheme for young people in North Lincs.
Andrew explains, "The Conservative-led North Lincs Council funded over 7,000 free children's swimming sessions during the summer holidays. The Summer Daze sessions took place between 20th July - 2nd September, and were available at The Pods, Ancholme Leisure Centre, Axholme North Leisure Centre, Baysgarth Leisure Centre, along with Epworth Pool.
"The Summer Daze sessions were part of the Council’s ongoing Positive Activities initiative. This initiative provides a range of different activities for young people to take part in: sports, leisure, culture, arts, volunteering and more.
"The aim of these activities is to get young people fit and active, learn new skills and to make new friends. Those who can take part include young people up to the age of 19 and up to 25 for vulnerable young people."
