Primary school pupils in our area can take part in a national competition to raise awareness of the dangers of Carbon Monoxide poisoning.
Andrew explains, "The competition, which has been organised by gas network Cadent, is designed to teach children about the dangers of Carbon Monoxide and to help them to keep safe. The competition is looking for entries from children aged between 5 and 11, in any form of media, such as eye-catching cartoons, videos, models, short stories or poems that are informative and accurate in warning of the dangers of CO poisoning. The winners will receive a prize for themselves and for their school or organisation, at an awards ceremony in the House of Commons in July."
