£1 Million Funding for Community Pocket Parks

Community groups in our area can bid for funding to create their own pocket park or to refurbish an existing park. The initiative provides up to a potential £15,000 for building a new ‘pocket park’ or up to £25,000 for renovating an existing park. Visit to Luddington Primary

Andrew joined Cllr John Briggs and Cllr Julie Reed for a visit to Luddington Primary last week. Following the visit, Andrew said, "I enjoyed visiting Luddington Primary with Councillors John Briggs and Julie Reed to see the outdoor play equipment we helped the school secure the funding for. Working together, we secured £5k for the new equipment, which the kids apparently do enjoy even though we struggled to get a photo of us smiling on the day! It was chilly mind."

Additional Funding for the NHS Locally

I have been informed of two pieces of great news today on NHS funding locally. Firstly, the Minister of State for Health has informed me that the Humber NHS Foundation Trust is to receive £300,000 of funding, whilst North Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust is set to receive £940,000 of funding. Launch of North Lincolnshire’s Economic Growth Plan

Andrew attended the launch of North Lincolnshire’s Economic Growth Plan last week in Parliament. The Environment Agency (EA) have now launched their annual winter campaign to inform the public about the risks of flooding and to help people take action to be prepared.
