Andrew has provided the following update on water pressure issues affecting the Goole area.
Andrew reports, "Like many residents in the Goole area, I have had issues with water pressure and supply at my home over the weekend. We raised this with Yorkshire Water on Friday as soon as we became aware of the burst main in East Cowick.
"I have continued to respond to residents over the weekend and we've pursued Yorkshire Water again today. Like many other residents, I have been less than impressed by Yorkshire Water's comms in recent days! I am irritated that we have had to chase them and pressure them rather than them proactively reaching out.
"Yorkshire Water operate bronze, silver, and gold escalation to reflect the severity of an incident and they inform me that it has now been elevated to silver command, so more will kick in now. Discussions are ongoing and I will provide a full update shortly, however, I am assured in the meantime that one of the action items as a result of the escalation is to work with other partners in the local area to establish the most at-risk groups."
