Andrew has reported on the launch of the Yorkshire Water Goole Area Community Fund.
Andrew reports, "As residents may remember, I asked Yorkshire Water to set up a community grant pot in recognition of the inconvenience we suffered recently due to the water pressure issues.
"Yorkshire Water agreed to a one off £10,000 pot which is now live and taking applications. Groups in the East Cowick, Rawcliffe and Rawcliffe Bridge, Airmyn, Goole, Hook, Old Goole, and the Marshlands villages can apply.
"No grant application should be for over £1000 but of course if groups apply for smaller amounts we can ensure that more groups benefit.
"I have agreed to sit on the scoring panel which will go through the applications and I am of course keen to see as many local groups benefit as possible. The details are below."
