Westwoodside and Graizelound go Live for Superfast Broadband

Andrew has welcomed another two broadband cabinets being upgraded for superfast broadband on the Isle of Axholme. This latest upgrade includes one cabinet in Westwoodside, on the junction of Doncaster Road and Newbigg, with the other covering Graizelound.

The Westwoodside cabinet upgrade means that both cabinets in the village are now upgraded and live for superfast broadband, enabling residents in both of these locations to join the thousands of others across North Lincolnshire who can now see huge improvements in their broadband speeds.

Those residents in Westwoodside and Graizelound who are interested in accessing superfast broadband can now contact their provider to discuss the packages available to them, and residents should note that properties aren’t automatically upgraded.

Andrew says, “It’s great to see yet another two cabinets now upgraded for superfast broadband locally. This means that residents in Graizelound and Westwoodside will be able to join those from nearby Wroot, East Lound, West Butterwick and elsewhere on the Isle, who are already able to receive superfast broadband.

“The roll-out programme is continuing though and more upgrades are due to happen shortly. I am continuing to work with the Council and BT as they model any outstanding locations, and look at how best to connect the remaining communities.”

Residents can keep up to date with the roll-out of the North Lincolnshire Broadband Project via the Council’s dedicated website: http://www.northlincs.gov.uk/jobs-business-regen/business-information-and-advice/northern-lincolnshire-broadband-project/
