Vaccine Programme Extended Again

Andrew has provided an update on the vaccine rollout programme.

Andrew explains, "I like to keep residents updated as the eligibility for the vaccine roll-out continues to extend. As such I wanted to alert residents to the latest change which now means anyone aged 44+ (or who is 43 but will turn 44 by July 1st) is now able to book a vaccine via the link - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/coronavirus-vaccination/book-coronavirus-vaccination

"April remains largely a month for second doses for the top 9 priority groups which includes those 16 years and over with certain conditions, all over 50s, carers and health and social care workers.

"Supply remains bumpy but it is good to see the programme extending. As ever, if you don't want to book via the online system, you can wait to be called by your local GP instead."
