Tesco have asked Andrew to raise awareness locally of their Bags of Help local community grant scheme.
Andrew says, "You may be aware that this year is the centenary of Tesco’s founding, with a number of national and local events taking place to celebrate the milestone. As part of their centenary, Tesco are providing larger grants for this year’s Bags of Help scheme. The Bags of Help Centenary Grants will provide funding of £25,000, £15,000 and £10,000 for groups promoting health in local communities during July / August, and for all community groups in November / December.
"Tesco provide this funding to local projects across Britain through money raised from carrier bag sales. I understand that, since 2016, Tesco have donated £210,561 to 71 projects in our constituency."
