Andrew has welcomed the Post Office’s announcement that residents in Old Goole will be able to benefit from extended opening hours at their local Post Office, as well as a modernised Post Office service.
Old Goole Post Office, which is located on Swinefleet Road, is being upgraded to one of the Post Office’s new-style local branches following a recent consultation with customers.
The new-look Post Office is due to open next week, subject to completion of the refurbishment works.
Andrew says, “I hope that residents will welcome the extended opening hours and support their local Post Office. When we came to power we scrapped Labour’s Post Office closure programme, which saw over 4,000 Post Office’s closing nationally. Instead, the Post Office has been investing in Post Offices which means local residents can benefit from modern and improved services.”
The new opening hours will be: Monday to Sunday 07:00 - 22:00.
