North Lincs Council Launches Online Portal to Report Littering and Fly-Tipping

North Lincs Council is enhancing tools around litter enforcement, with a new online portal for residents to upload photos and videos – including dash-cam footage - of perpetrators caught in the act of littering or fly-tipping.

Andrew reports, "This is part of an ongoing campaign in North Lincs to tackle the scourge of fly-tipping and littering.  I have been working closely with the council over many months on the strategy, which includes new cameras to catch culprits, a fantastic volunteer litter-picking scheme, and this new initiative.

"It is sad that it comes to this, but the reality is that we have a minority that simply will not follow the rules, making it impossible for council street sweeping teams to keep up with. As such, please do make use of this portal and help deter these people."
