Andrew has provided the following update on the Neville Crescent, Winterton drainage issue.
Andrew explains, "Thanks to Anglian Water for meeting myself and Ward Councillors, Elaine Marper and Ralph Ogg, on site in Winterton last week to discuss the sewer and drainage issue that has been impacting some residents in Neville Crescent.
"The sewer had some slight damage which was allowing things flushed down the toilet to snag and cause blockages, including wet wipes which of course should not be flushed.
"Anglian Water lined the pipe with a fibreglass lining last week to hopefully prevent this but it is important that residents also remember not to flush things such as wet wipes or we may get a repeat.
"Was also a great opportunity for me to quiz Anglian Water on their broader strategy locally to improve waste water management locally.
"Contrary to my pose in the picture, I was not in fact leading us off in some line dancing!"
