Andrew recently made young people in our area aware of the Government’s ‘Fire it Up’ campaign which aims to showcase the variety of apprenticeships on offer and to raise awareness of the excellent opportunities they provide as an alternative to academic routes into a variety of careers.
In addition to the above campaign, Andrew is happy to report that National Apprenticeship Week (NAW 2019), is just around the corner, 4 to 8 March 2019. NAW is also an opportunity to recognise the opportunities that apprenticeship can bring to employers, individuals and the economy.
Andrew add,s "During the week, there will be a number of activities and events taking place across the country, with this year’s theme being "Blaze a Trail". Last year, over 700 events took place during National Apprenticeship Week 2018, including talks in schools, live video streaming events and more."
