Andrew has welcomed the news that our local schools have seen significant improvements in their results over the last few years.
Commenting, Andrew said, "The below results are due to the hard work and dedication of our fantastic local teachers, support staff and pupils.
"In the East Riding, 82% of children now (as at December 2018) attend schools rated good or outstanding. This is in comparison to 55% in 2010. In North Lincolnshire, 89% of children now (as at December 2018) attend schools rated good or outstanding, compared to 56% in 2010. Moreover, I am informed that in both the East Riding and North Lincolnshire, the progress pupils make between the end of primary and their GCSEs is above the national average.
