Andrew has provided the following update on improvements to Hook play park.
Andrew explains, *"I am delighted to have helped secure funding for the newly installed outdoor gym equipment at the Play Park in Hook.
The equipment installed includes: double squat push, arm and pedal cycle, anergise multi-gym unit, double sit up bench, combi pull down challenger and power push.
You can find user guides, to help users exercise safely, from the Hook Parish Council Facebook page and the Hook Community Forum. I understand that the equipment has been designed to suit all potential users, regardless of age, level of fitness or expertise.
The equipment was funded by the Goole Fields Wind Farm Community Fund and Tesco Community Grants Scheme and was applied for via my 'Bid Writing Service'. This service, which I set up a few years ago, has now secured over £2 million for local good causes.
I am delighted to have helped secure this funding and congratulate Hook Parish Council on a further improvement to the village and thank them for all their work managing this project.""*
