Andrew has provided an update following his latest visit to the Siemens site in Goole.
Andrew reports, *"I was delighted to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for Siemens’ new warehouse facility at Goole. I was joined by neighbouring MP David Davis.
"This latest expansion project at the Goole Rail Village will see the development of a new regional materials and logistics warehouse. The site will store materials for Siemens Mobility’s train manufacturing and maintenance locations across the United Kingdom.
"I am informed that additional roles will be created to support the new warehouse and it will further expand the site’s portfolio of services. Siemens state that this will help them to respond to their customer needs even more quickly and effectively, reducing travel miles for train parts needed at depots and helping to lower the carbon footprint
