Green Light For New Leisure Centre

Andrew and local Councillors, John Briggs and Julie Reed, are delighted to report that planning permission for the new Leisure Centre and Swimming Pool in Crowle has now being given full planning permission.

The new £4.5 million facility, a key election promise from your local Conservatives, can now begin construction.

Andrew Percy MP reports, “Whilst other Councils are cutting left right and centre, because of our sensible management of the finances in North Lincolnshire, we have been able to freeze Council Tax and provide fantastic new services such as this. We’ve also kept another election promise.”

Cllr John Briggs comments, “We reported back in November that the plans had been submitted for approval and we are delighted that they got through with little difficulty.

The new centre is going to be a fantastic facility for the community and the school. It will include; a 25m swimming pool, dance studio, tennis court and flood lit all-weather pitch! Our action is in contrast to Labour who recently proposed privatising our leisure centres!”

Cllr Julie Reed continues, “Every step of the way we have consulted with residents to make sure that the new centre includes the facilities you want. Residents may remember that the original proposal didn't include a pool, but following the feedback showing strong support for this from residents, we found funding to include one!
