Andrew has provided the following update on government support grants for local businesses that have been impacted by the pandemic.
Andrew explained on Facebook: "The Government recently announced grants of up to £6k for businesses impacted by the new Omicron wave of Covid. This is something I pressured Ministers for and one of the reasons I opposed some of the additional restrictions a few weeks ago which I was concerned were being implemented without support for the businesses impacted from them. Thanks to those local businesses who contacted me to make the same point.
"The Government has now issued the guidance and funding to local Councils who process the applications and deliver the grants.

"The East Riding of Yorkshire Council applications will be open shortly too and I will post that when I have it."
