Goole - Howden Hopper Bus Service

Andrew attended the launch of the new Goole-Airmyn-Howden-Howden Station bus on Friday last week.

Andrew reports, "Was great to attend the launch of the new Goole-Airmyn-Howden-Howden Station bus last week which is now up and running.

"This new connection is funded by the Town Deal funding I secured for our area from the Conservative government. The aim of the new service is to connect the two railway stations and the employment sites at Goole 36.

"It will run from Goole Station to Goole 36 then stop at Glew's Garage before stopping Airmyn (where it can be hailed anywhere as it passes through) and then on to Howden Memorial and Howden Station.

"This is necessary to comply with the terms of the funding and I know many people have lots of different views on where bus routes should won, but this is a really great new service.

"This is a really great new service I am proud to have helped deliver. We have made sure that the timetable is substantial so that it can work for shoppers, commuters, workers and leisure seekers!

"It will cost £1 and can be paid in cash or card or you can use your free Pensioner Bus Pass! Whilst we have funding for two years, it will only be sustainable if people use it so please please help make this service be sustainable. "
