Epworth Pool Facelift

Andrew recently met with Isle Central Councillor, Dave Robinson, and Council Leader, Rob Waltham, along with members of the Pool Management to view progress on the Epworth Pool facelift.

£118k was provided by North Lincs Council's Community Pot, which was set up when the  Conservatives took over control of the Council from Labour. The money is funding a new and improved entrance and new storage for the various swimming clubs and users. More importantly, it moves the entrance to the other side of the site, allowing the Pool Committee to work on their plans for a soft play area and cafe in an extension where the current entrance is. The new entrance also ties in better with the entrance to the Leisure Centre and the new skate park, again both places that local Conservatives have provided funding for in recent years.

Andrew comments, "I've made improving the leisure facilities in our area a real priority in my time as our MP and it remains a priority for me in this term as our MP. I'm really proud that residents can see real improvements happening as a result of our investment locally.

"The Ancholme River Trail, the Isle of Axholme Greenway, the new Leisure Centre and Pool in Crowle, the new gym in Winterton, the new cycle routes, the countless improvements to village play areas and parks and more besides, are all projects that we have led on and invested in locally and we couldn't be prouder to have done so."
