Election Thanks

Many thanks to everyone who voted yesterday across Brigg and Goole and the Isle of Axholme. 

Thanks especially for voting to return your Local Conservatives. We held every seat here in this constituency on both North Lincs and East Riding Council. 

Across North Lincs generally, we are so proud to have bucked the national trend and not only held every seat but also to have increased our majority in some. 

This is down to the hard work and dedication of the local Conservative team and our record of doing what we say locally and keeping in touch all year round. And of focussing on local issues. 

Thank you very much to everyone who voted. 13 years after winning this constituency off Labour I am proud that every Councillor in this constituency is Conservative or, in the case of Goole South, has Independent Councillors who I work closely with.  

I say that not as a boast but with great pride that local people put their faith in us locally because of what we deliver. 

As residents know, these will be my last elections as I am leaving the House of Commons at the next election. Our constituency is being split four ways and added to other seats. 

Thank you for ensuring that my last year or so will be spent productively working with Councillors I have a great working relationship with delivering for our area.
