Andrew has provided the following update on covid booster jabs/ third doses.
Andrew reports, "Over 8 million people have now received their third Covid vaccine booster jab but many more remain eligible and have yet to receive one. These include the over 50s, frontline NHS and care workers and over 16s with certain health conditions etc. You must also be more than 6 months from your second jab.
"From this week, booster shots are now available via 'Walk-In' centres, meaning people can turn up without an appointment to get the booster. This is in addition to the online booking system. Residents can also wait to be contacted and arrange an appointment that way."
