Andrew has provided the following update on the Coronavirus on Facebook:
"My team and I are continuing to work flat out to assist constituents with queries regarding the coronavirus. We are receiving requests from people stuck abroad, to vulnerable constituents who require signposting to available assistance, and everything else in between.
"We are being overwhelmed with the number of queries we have received and, as such, it is not always possible to provide bespoke advice for every unique circumstance raised with us. Please do follow the available guidance (links included below) and use common sense when interpreting the advice. However, we will continue to do all we can to provide assistance to residents throughout this difficult time.
"Can I also encourage people to continue to show kindness to one another and to leave it to the authorities to offer advice and to enforce that in anyway required by law. I have had reports of people shouting at other people in the streets. Please follow the guidance and let the authorities do their job.
"In the meantime, we can all do our bit by continuing to follow the official guidance, which you can find online here: ww.nhs.uk/coronavirus and here www.gov.uk/coronavirus."
