It is also possible for a friend or family member to call on someone’s behalf, as long as that person is with you when you call.
If you are unable to make a claim by phone, you can make a paper application by either contacting a local voluntary organisation like Citizens Advice or AgeUK or by getting a friend or family member to call the helpline to ask for a paper application.
