Andrew is encouraging residents to visit this year's Flower Festival in Brigg.
Andrew reports, "I am delighted to inform residents that this year’s Flower Festival in Brigg will be taking place at St John the Evangelist Church between June 8th – 11th. The timings on the day are: 9.30am - 3.00pm, and refreshments will be served in the church hall daily between 9.30am - 2.30pm.
"Celebrating the King’s Coronation, the theme for the festival is: ‘A Right Royal Do’. Please do visit and see the various wonderful displays on offer, including my contribution to the festival, which you can see below. Thank you to Molly's Flowers for my lovely display, which I understand uses some of the King's favourite flowers. Also a big thank you to everyone who has worked to put this wonderful event together.
"In addition, taking place on Sunday night in St John’s Church is a Last Night at the Proms type event (again to celebrate the King’s Coronation) with Barnetby Silver Band. The event starts at 7.00pm and entry is free."
