Andrew signed a pledge to support Cardiac Risk in the Young’s (CRY) campaign for a National Strategy for the Prevention of Young Sudden Cardiac Death.
Andrew says, "CRY held an event in Parliament for MPs to pledge their support to help save the lives of the 12 apparently fit and healthy young people who die every week in the UK of undiagnosed cardiac conditions.
"It was great to speak to CRY's representatives about this important campaign and to discuss my experience as a first responder along with the work we have done locally to roll-out lifesaving defibrillators."
