All Party Groups

Andrew believes in working cross-party in Parliament which is why he has been an active member of a number of All Party Parliamentary Groups (APPGs).

These APPGs bring MPs of all political parties together to work on issues of mutual interest. Andrew has been a member of a wide range of APPGs, including on Financial Education, Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire, Global Education, the Commonwealth and even the All Party Cheese Group!

He currently serves as the Chair of the APPG on Surrogacy and as Co-Chair of the APPG Against Antisemitism. The APPG on Surrogacy's aim is to fully review our surrogacy laws, encourage and promote debate on the issues, facilitate further research into how surrogacy is conducted, bring the law into line with modern social realities, and encourage domestic surrogacy in the first instance. The APPG Against Antisemitism aims to combat antisemitism and help develop and seek implementation of effective public policy to combat antisemitism.

Andrew is also Secretary of the APPG for Transatlantic Trade which seeks to promote the removal of tariff and non-tariff trade barriers between the United Kingdom and North America. Having served as the Prime Minister's Trade Envoy to Canada under both Theresa May and David Cameron, Andrew takes a particular interest in UK Canada relations. He is also a member of many APPGs promoting friendship with other countries including Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Israel.
