Andrew is encouraging local children to once again take part in the Reading Agency's latest reading challenge.
Andrew explains, "Residents may remember me mentioning the Reading Agency's various summer and winter reading challenges. These reading challenges encourage children, aged 4-11, to continue reading during school holidays.
"I understand that the latest Winter Mini Challenge is live and will continue until Sunday 20 February 2023. The goal is to read three or more books and receive a fun virtual badge and certificate as a reward.
"Once you’ve read a book, you can add it to your website profile and write a review to let everyone know what you thought. There are a number of free activity sheets and resources which you can find online on the reading challenge website. "
