Andrew has provided the following update on the Property Flood Resilience Scheme, which will be extended for an additional 9 months.
Andrew said, "Residents may remember that the Conservative Government made £5,000 available for homes that were flooded earlier this year. The funding was to cover the costs of building in flood resilience measures as homes are repaired.
"The Minister has now written to confirm that the deadline to access this funding has been extended due to Covid-19 and the delays some of those affected by flooding across the country have had accessing tradesmen to undertake the works."
