Andrew has provided the following update on the recent letter he sent to residents in Snaith and Cowick regarding the investigation into the recent flooding.
Andrew said, "Residents in Snaith and Cowick will be receiving a letter from me in the next day or two with a request from the East Riding Council and the Environment Agency, both of whom are requesting information such as photos and videos from residents to help with the investigations into the recent flooding.
"Sadly, and I can't believe we have to say this, but the East Riding Council sent the wrong email address to us and to the media for residents to use! I mean,you literally couldn't make it up. They missed a dot out in the email address they supplied as part of their press release on the launch of the investigation!
"Anyways, if you get the letter and have information such as videos and photos to share please use this email address for the Council - flooding.information@eastriding.gov.uk
"The information for the EA remains as in the letter. Please share this as we want to ensure as much data as possible is provided by residents for this official investigation.
"It's not the end of the world, but we do want to ensure that anything sent actually gets there so please do circulate this."
