Q & A with Gunness and Burringham C of E Primary School

Andrew took part in a Q&A session with Gunness and Burringham C of E Primary School earlier today.

Andrew reports, "The school had booked one of Parliament’s Education and Engagement Digital Workshops, which give pupils a chance to learn about the work and role of Parliament and also gives them an opportunity to speak to their local MP.

"I would like to thank the pupils for their fantastic questions – we covered some really important local and national topics. Some of the issues we discussed included local parking and roundabouts, littering and the location of bins, tree planting, climate change and COP26. I really enjoyed getting feedback from the pupils.

"As mentioned, Parliament holds a variety of these virtual workshops, which are open to primary schools, secondary schools, and Post 16 providers. Please do see the following link for further information and how schools can sign up: https://learning.parliament.uk/en/schools-and-colleges/

"Once again, I’d like to thank the pupils of Gunness and Burringham C of E Primary for your feedback and hope to speak to you all again soon."
