Andrew explains, "A delight to welcome members of Kyiv City Council (from various parties) and the Ukrainian Parliament to the House of Commons today.
"I spoke with members of the Council about Goole's ambulance project and how proud we are to be providing this essential kit from O&H Venari. That ambulance program continues with a European government recently ordering a further batch of ambulances from the factory.
"The City Council members wanted to pass on their thanks for our support on ambulances and also more generally on the amazing support they are receiving from the UK government and the British people.
"I was humbled to receive the gift of a small piece of broken glass from the Kyiv glass bridge which was damaged by a Ruasian rocket attack last year. The bridge survived but for a few pieces of broken glass and continues to stand as a symbol of defiance against Russia's brutality and barbarism. The defiance and strength of the Ukrainian people is inspiring.
"I was honoured to received one of the few pieces."
