The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitálii Klychkó has thanked Andrew for his support of Ukraine.
Andrew explains, "I was very touched to receive the below letter from the Mayor of Kyiv thanking me for all our support for Ukraine in its defence against Russia's war.
"I have been proud to play a small role in helping get much needed equipment to Ukraine, including in the form of armoured ambulances from Venari O&H in Goole.
"My role has been to work behind the scenes on issues such as funding and helping with export licences etc, but the real thanks must go to everyone at the factory and other local businesses for their amazing work on this project.
"The latest vehicles arrived in Kyiv last week and Venari Chairman, Oliver North, accompanied them and formally handed them over. These ones were procured by the Luxembourg Department of Defence as part of the LUkraine asbl non-profit group's 'Ukraine is Calling' campaign which is providing much needed support for Ukraine
"I've attached some photos below of the handover to the Ukrainian military of these vehicles which will be used at the front line."
