Andrew has welcomed the announcement that Drax has donated 83 laptops to schools in the Brigg and Goole constituency, to ensure that no child is left behind as a result of the Covid pandemic.
Andrew reports, "Great news that Drax have continued their local donation of laptops to schools in our area. The company asked me to nominate local schools for these which I have done on a number of occasions, most recently Rawcliffe and Rawcliffe Bridge Primary Schools.
"I am pleased that Drax took this up and have donated 5 laptops to each of the schools, which is part of a donation of 1200 laptops nationally by the company.
"Other schools in the Goole area to receive laptops previously include Goole Academy, Marshlands Primary and The Snaith School.
"Thanks to Drax for supporting our local schools with this kind gesture."
