Arrived back from conference to see some silliness from my Labour opponent regarding the Tory position on the Humber Bridge. It is funny to watch how quickly people who claim to want an 'all party' solution to the Humber Bridge tolls issue suddenly descend into childish politicking.
Needless to say the truth of the situation is very different to what was reported. The Conservatives have certainly not closed down discussion on the bridge toll issue and in fact our Northern Transport Board is looking into the issue. There has been no ruling out of action on the tolls issue from a future Conservative government, in fact there is a pledge to engage with the campaign.
