£2.8 Million Funding for Goole Hospital

Andrew has provided the following update on funding for the decarbonisation and energy efficiency of local hospitals.

Andrew reports, "I’m very pleased that the Government has committed to nearly £2.8 million of funding towards replacing the coal fired boiler at Goole Hospital, which is one of the last two coal fired boilers in the NHS.

"This comes as part of North Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Trust (NLAG) receiving approval today for full funding from the Conservative Government for their £40.3 million bid to the Public Sector Estates Decarbonisation fund.

"I have been working closely with NLAG to secure this funding so am delighted that this has now been confirmed. Along with benefiting our local hospitals, this is also a positive for the environment."
