Fuel duty frozen again!

Andrew is celebrating after the Chancellor, George Osborne MP, announced another freeze in fuel duty. Andrew has been part of the ‘Fair Fuel’ campaign calling for help for motorists. Since the Government came into office in 2010, they have now scrapped or frozen every increase scheduled by the previous Labour Government.

The Conservatives are helping hard working people. Under this government petrol will now be 88p per gallon cheaper which means it will cost residents £11 less every time they fill up than it would under the last Government’s planned increases. A saving worth on average £680 for motorists over this Parliament.

Andrew says, “I’ve campaigned for more help for hard working motorists and every year the Chancellor has delivered. Prices are now 88p per gallon cheaper than under Labour’s plans, which is fantastic news for local people.”
