Free Coronavirus Book for Children and the Next Episode of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library Readings

Andrew has been informed that the illustrator of the popular book The Gruffalo, Axel Scheffler, has created a new digital book: ‘Coronavirus : a book for children’.

Andrew explains, "The book answers questions regarding the coronavirus for children between the ages of five and nine year old. These questions include: what is the coronavirus, how do you catch the coronavirus, what can I do to help, and much more.

"I understand that Professor Graham Medley of the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine acted as a consultant for the book, along with two head teachers and a child psychologist.

"I’m pleased to say the book is free to read online: https://nosycrow.com/blog/released-today-free-information-book-explaining-coronavirus-children-illustrated-gruffalo-illustrator-axel-scheffler

"Although the book is available for free, families might wish to make a donation to help the NHS if they find the book useful: www.nhscharitiestogether.co.uk

"In addition, Dolly Parton’s next Imagination Library reading is available to enjoy online: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqqEG6mMuqw. As mentioned previously, Dolly is reading select Imagination Library books on YouTube for families to enjoy with their children. The third instalment is the book:  'Llama Llama Red Pajama'."
