Flooding Meetings - Meeting with the Ancholme Internal Drainage Board

Andrew met with the Ancholme Internal Drainage Board earlier today, along with Holly Mumby-Croft MP and Cllr Ralph Ogg, to discuss flood management on the Ancholme Valley.

Andrew says, "Following the severe flooding to land and houses at the end of last year, I have been working with the various agencies to discuss flooding issues and find solutions. Over the next couple of weeks, I have a number of meetings set up to deal with the specifics.

"Today I was dealing with drainage on the River Ancholme Catchment. I met with the Chairman of the Ancholme Drainage Board Robert Borrill , along with Holly Mumby-Croft MP, Cllr Ralph Ogg and other interested parties. We discussed a number of drainage issues on the Ancholme drainage catchment.

"Moreover, next week I will be attending a summit meeting with various agencies to discuss in detail other places that have been impacted such as Burringham, Keadby, Westwoodside and others.

"Rest assured that I am doing everything I can to find solutions to these issues and will make sure to keep residents updated."
