Crowle Drainage Improvements

Andrew has provided an update on a recent meeting he held with Severn Trent regarding Crowle drainage improvements.

Andrew reports, "Myself and Isle North Councillors, John Briggs and Julie Reed, held another flood and drainage meeting with Severn Trent, the Internal Drainage Board and North Lincs Council yesterday. We have undertaken a number of these in the past couple of weeks to push forward the drainage improvement scheme Severn Trent are working on.

"The delivery of this scheme requires work from the various partners and we have now overcome some of the communication blocks in bringing information forward to progress the project.
It is now expected that Severn Trent will make their investment decision on this scheme in June. Given the history of issues in the area, including the recent event, we are hopeful of a positive outcome.

"We will be meeting again in a few weeks to assess programme and John, Julie and I will be continuing to push for this scheme and doing all we can to keep the pressure up for a positive approval."
