Crowle Community Hub Set to Open Shortly & Post Office Update

Andrew is pleased to report that work on the redevelopment of the Market Hall in Crowle is almost complete and the Community Hub is set to open this month.

Andrew explains, “This project is part of the Conservative-run North Lincolnshire Council’s £5m community investment programme, with around £300,000 being invested in the redevelopment of this facility off the High Street.

“The Hub will provide information, advice and guidance; library services including a children’s library; access to computers; healthy lifestyle advice; reminiscence sessions; coffee mornings; children and adult group activities; a community space, plus much, much more.

“In addition, a special area has been set aside to deliver the return of a Post Office service, initially on a part-time basis. I recently joined councillors Julie Reed and John Briggs to see the new site in person (pictured).

“It has been a long road to getting Post Office services returned to Crowle and having to find someone to operate the site, but it is very welcome that we can now see the return of services.

“I know the return of Post Office services will be very welcome for local residents. Myself, John and Julie have been working together on this, and have asked the Post Office to ensure that this is just the start, and that this will be an improving service. However, please be aware that this will be dependent on local residents using this service to make that happen.

“I will be sure to keep residents updated with further information on the launch date.”
