Andrew has provided another quick update on the Aire and Calder Canal repairs, near East Cowick.
Andrew explains:
I continue to liase with the Canal & River Trust to seek updates on the canal repairs. Further to my last update, I have been informed that that the piling for the cofferdam has started (as shown in the photo below). Once complete, they can drain this section and see the damage and make a start on the repair.
I am currently arranging an update meeting with the Canal & River Trust so should have further updates for residents shortly.
