Bus Service for New Scunthorpe Vaccine Centre

Further to Andrew recent update regarding the new walk-n vaccine centre at the Foundry in Scunthorpe, he has been informed that a bus service will also be provided for residents who are unable to travel.


Andrew reports, "I am informed that a new booster bus service is being launched for people who are struggling to get to the new walk-in vaccine centre at the Foundry, Scunthorpe.

"I understand the minibus will pick people up from their home, take them to the Foundry, then drop them off back at home after they’ve had their vaccine."


The booster bus will be in the areas listed below on Thursday 23 December. Morning pick up will be from 8.30am and afternoon pick up from 1.30pm. People must wear a face covering on the bus.

Bus 1 – Westwoodside, Owston Ferry and Haxey

Bus 2 – Goxhill, New Holland and Barrow

Bus 3 – Kirton, Hibaldstow and Scawby.

The bus is available for people who need their first, second or booster doses.
