Lest we forget
An honour to attend the Brigg Remembrance Service this morning. Sad that this year wasn't as normal due to Covid restrictions but well done to the Town Council for doing their best in difficult circumstances.
Last night and over the weekend I have also laid wreaths at some of the other memorials across our area, including Crowle, Epworth, Broughton, Winterton and Pollington. Thanks to those laying on my behalf in other places today such as Goole.
Today is a reminder to us all perhaps that as difficult as many of us might be finding this year, others have had to sacrifice much more in the past.
