Andrew recently joined Cllr Carl Sherwood and Barnetby Parish Council Chair for a litter pick with staff from the Starbucks at Barnetby Top.
Andrew reported the following on his Facebook page, "The litter pick came about following residents complaints about litter at this location which I raised with Starbucks who have increased their own litter bins and added more litter patrols to their schedule.
"To be fair, it's not Starbuck's fault this littering occurs as the only people responsible for litter are the thoughtless folks who can't be bothered to use a bin or take their litter home. Much of it is also stuff bought at other locations.
"Anyways, we had a good go at cleaning it up yesterday lunch time and I got so carried away I ended up on the off ramp of the M180 eastbound until I was told off by the Highways Agency!
"As you can see we filled a fair few bags of trash. Thanks to Starbucks for their contribution and also to adding more bins and litter patrols."
