The £500k Community Grants Fund the local Conservatives established when we took control of North Lincs Council is continuing to support local projects across the area. Andrew recently visited Gunness to formally present a £30,000 grant from the fund, used to help finance the new Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA).
Andrew says, "This funding provides half a million pound every year for local community projects and has funded various projects across our area. One of the latest is the Gunness MUGA which I visited recently. As you can see from the photo I visited in howling wind and driving rain, so we chose not to have a kick around while there.
"The Community Grant Fund provided nearly half of the funding for this project and I am really proud that we have made good on our promise to create this fund to support local community groups and organisations."
